ALTERNATIVE ASSET MANAGERS
If you manage an investment firm that can generate highly competitive risk-adjusted performance within any asset class (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, commodities, currencies, structured finance, etc.), can deploy more than $50 million, and are actively raising capital, we want to speak with you.

As an asset-class-agnostic quantitative firm driving academic progress in the field, we are able to fill the tremendous holes in the capital markets created by the hubris of our competition by applying the highest levels of expertise to the design of merit-based solutions: on the buy side, we capitalize deserving asset managers; and on the sell side, we engineer demonstrably better investments.

If your strategy is good enough, we’ll provide you as much capital as you can deploy without exceeding its capacity.

There is an expectation within the industry that if your AUM does not exceed $1 billion, then you’re not a serious asset manager. That is simply not true. Those types of heuristics are established by the oldest financial institutions for the single purpose of stifling competition.

As a matter of fact, every academic study on the relationship between AUM and performance clearly illustrates an inverse relationship. We thoroughly understand risk, and won’t penalize your firm for being relatively small.

Again, all you have to do is demonstrate the ability to generate competitive performance, and you qualify to have us provide your strategy an effectively blank check without forcing you to compromise your fee structure.

If you are an RIA with more than 50MM in AUM looking to double or triple your revenue within the next year. You‘ve most probably thought about spending more on marketing or attempting to buy other RIAs.

As you know, marketing has become harder and more expensive than ever, and an acquisitions strategy sounds great until you realize there are 52 bidders per each RIA up for sale; it’s not exactly a buyer’s market.

We’ve actually run into the opposite problem…

We’re a boutique investment bank that serves the institutional space: fund of funds, small pension funds and endowments. Our marketing infrastructure and partnerships have generated over 125,000 high net worth individuals that are looking to invest with the merit-based approach described in my book, The Shadow Banker’s Secrets: Investment Banking for Alternatives.
We feel an obligation to serve the retail investors in our ecosystem, so we’ve decided to partner with a handful of RIAs that match the following criteria:

1)  Have a minimum AUM of $50MM… or at least have that level of AUM readily accessible.

2)  Have the intellectual capacity to understand the basics of risk-adjusted performance measures.

3)  Be willing to adopt merit-based portfolio construction principles that may deviate from your current protocols, but move you into the institutional sphere.

In short, be committed to running your investment management business in a manner that best serves your clients.

We will not only deliver thousands of new high net worth clients to you, but in the process, we’ll differentiate and de-commoditize your firm; triple the revenue of your existing client base, and have them thank you for the privilege.

If you can check all of these boxes or at least see yourself doing so, let’s talk!
